We watched Forrest Gump recently and I got caught up in the IMDB trivia. There was one entry that alluded to there being a sequel to the first book. First book? I never knew Forrest Gump was a book. So I found it on Libby and read the first chapter before checking it out. I'm not sure if I'll finish it (it's really different from the movie), but I was able to get through the first chapter pretty quickly.
I couldn't get through this. It's just too weird after watching the movie. It's like a bad fan-fiction of the movie.
